Firefighter/EMT

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/EMT to join our team at Wakulla County Fire Rescue. As a Firefighter/EMT, you will be responsible for providing fire and rescue services, including emergency response, patient care, and transport.

• Operate and maintain fire and rescue apparatus and equipment
• Provide emergency medical services, including basic life support and patient care
• Participate in fire suppression and rescue operations
• Collaborate with other emergency responders to ensure effective response and communication

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• State of Florida Emergency Medical Technician Certification
• Basic Life Support Provider certification
• Florida Firefighter II Certification
• Certificate of completion of an approved Emergency Vehicle Operations Course (EVOC)
• Certificates of completion of FEMA IS-00100, IS-00200, IS-00700, IS-00800 Courses
• Ability to pass FBI Background Check and pre-employment firefighter physical and drug screening
