About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our NICU team. As a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. Your expertise will be essential in creating a plan of care, administering medications, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, including discharge plans and revising plans based on patient response to treatment.
- Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy.
- Provide education and support to families on homecare, treatments, and adoption.
- Assist in high-risk deliveries and resuscitation efforts.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to non-licensed staff in accordance with standards of practice.
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License.
- Registered Nurse, Certified in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC) is preferred.
