  • Perform independent analysis and data collection to consistently track and report on spare parts-related KPIs.
  • Manage and monitor orders while considering part lead times, vendor supply challenges, and SIOP to ensure part availability.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, maintenance personnel, and field support to identify necessary spare parts for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Actively adjust plans as the device installation base evolves and ages. Escalate any concerns to Global Service Management that may affect customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement business analytics that facilitate the identification, prioritization, and justification of improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing Global Services performance concerning spare parts and inventory management, including obsolescence, slow-moving parts, cycle counts, and overall inventory levels.
  • Identify, recommend, and execute enhancements for current spare parts systems, accounting, and reporting methods in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Map and assess existing processes, planning, and analyzing activities related to the timely and cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality assurance of spare parts.
  • Create metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
  • Act as the primary contact for Bench and Field Service technicians across all regions regarding parts inquiries and status updates. Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve parts-related issues promptly.
  • Research industry best practices, benchmarks, and tools to enhance analytics practices.
