Job Title: Travel Contract Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Contract RN - Med/Surg. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable healthcare staffing agency and gain valuable experience in a dynamic medical setting.

About the Job

This Med/Surg Travel Contract RN position is available in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and requires a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care and attention to detail.
  • Coordinate with the healthcare team to provide well-coordinated patient care, prioritizing patient needs and safety.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
  • Participate in relevant continuing education programs to maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • Active unencumbered RN license in Wisconsin.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Med/Surg setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
