Job Title: Travel Contract RN

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Contract RN to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Travel Contract RN, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a reputable hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular ICU. You will be responsible for assessing and coordinating patient care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and providing education to patients and their families. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care that meets their individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in relevant continuing education programs to maintain and update clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care that meets their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Requirements:
  • Active unencumbered RN state license in Wisconsin.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular ICU.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
  • COVID vaccine with 2 shots and booster.
