General Information

Job Description : The responsibilities include execution of full life cycle activities in support of multiple DevSecOps tools, which will include but are not limited to:
  • Work directly with architect, principal and lead engineer, and other team members on design and implementation tasks.
  • Plan and build roadmaps for the EKS and AWS DevOps Implementation.
  • Build applications with EKS and AWS best practices.
  • Accountable for meeting milestones.
  • Conduct code reviews, unit and integration testing.
  • Document system design and unit testing information.
  • Automate manual steps.
Required Skills:
  • Hands-on with EKS and AWS.
  • Proficient in Python and Shell scripting.
  • Experience with CloudBees, BitBucket, Sonar, Artifactory, and CloudNative Practices.
  • Broad knowledge of development and testing best DevSecOps practices.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI), Testing (CT), Security, and Deployment (CD) concepts.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
  • Apply engineering principles to improve resiliency, performance, efficiency, and scalability of the DevSecOps ecosystem.
  • Identify opportunities and build automation to reduce team interdependency.
  • Linux administration.
  • Windows administration.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Self-starter and quick learner.
  • Participation in on-call rotation.
Day-to-Day Activities:
  • AWS and EKS operations.
  • Build the agreed-upon application that leverages EKS and CloudNative concepts and implement in production.
  • Retrospect on the current implementation and document for future use.
  • Utilize Cloud Native tools.
  • Administer AWS console where CloudBees Agent exists on the EC2 instance.
Projected Level of Effort:

  1. 40 hours/week from the date of hire, with reviews at 3-month intervals. These are anticipated dates of assignment, and the assignment may be terminated by SBPASC at any time, with or without notice.
  2. 1 (one) Contractor.
