Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Nurse, you will:

  • Assume responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.
  • Perform assessment and analyze patient problems and conditions using critical decision making to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
  • Implement and/or modify plan of care using assessment data, standards of care and evidence-based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning.
  • Integrate ethical provisions in nursing practice and deliver care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
  • Evaluate progress towards attainment of desired patient outcomes.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
  • Hold an active (LPN) license cleared by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or with eNLC multi-state practice privilege.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $43.50/hour
