Job Summary:

The Orthopedic Technician is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in our orthopedic department. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with orthopedic procedures and patient care under the supervision of a nurse or physician.
  • Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.
  • Stock and maintain supplies and equipment, ensuring that our department is well-stocked and ready for patient care.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to our patients.

Requirements:

  • Formal training or experience in a medical field, with a focus on patient care and sterile technique.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.

Physical Guidelines:

  • Ability to move, traverse, and position self for up to eight hours per day.
  • Motor coordination and manual dexterity, with the ability to perform tasks that require fine motor skills.
  • Articulate speech and the ability to read and understand medical information.
  • Visual acuity and the ability to see and interpret visual information.
