We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Sentara Albemarle Regional Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and ensuring patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and imaging results.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT within two years of hire.
