Job Title: Night Auditor

At MCR Hotels, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our hotel's financial records during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register guests and process transactions with precision and accuracy.
  • Prepare and balance daily reports, including revenue and expense accounts.
  • Conduct security walks to ensure the safety and security of our guests and staff.
  • Initiate and complete the End of Day process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
  • Balance the day's work, including miscellaneous revenue, telephone postings, and server and desk agent's paperwork.
  • Prepare and distribute the Daily Flash Report as needed.
  • Transfer the master or house accounts as necessary.
  • Run morning reports according to MCR and Brand procedures.
  • Complete any reports as requested by management in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrate the ability to problem solve and effectively deal with internal and external customers.
  • Must have basic English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Must have the ability to obtain alcohol awareness certification as required by the State.
  • Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be proficient in Windows operating systems, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing.
  • Must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly.
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests.
