Key Responsibilities:- Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharge, ensuring a smooth transition of care.
- Provide and document ADL care, including bathing, grooming, and hygiene, as well as changing bed linens and cleaning patient rooms.
- Deliver evening care, including back rubs, bed baths, and oral hygiene, to promote patient comfort and relaxation.
- Assist with positioning, transfers, and lifting patients, using specialized equipment as needed, and adhering to best practices and registered nurse instruction.
- Answer call lights, anticipate patient needs, and provide hourly rounding and bedside shift report with handoffs.
- Perform procedures within the Certified Nursing Assistant's scope of practice, such as glucose monitoring.
- Report complaints about pain, deviations in vital signs, and changes in patient mental and physical conditions to licensed personnel immediately.
- Maintain patient safety using equipment, clinical skills, communication, and Universal Precautions, as well as implement isolation precautions as directed or per policies.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Licenses & Certifications: C-BLS Certification (Preferred: C-Cert Nursing Asst)
