Eugene, Oregon, United States Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress Full time
Position Overview

Behavioral Health Clinician - PCA or CSWA

Our mission goes beyond just providing services; we are dedicated to fostering mental wellness.

At Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress, we prioritize optimal mental health and unwavering support for our clients and team members alike.

We recognize that the foundation of our practice lies in our exceptional staff. We empower our clinicians to cultivate a successful and rewarding caseload within a culture that values innovation, professionalism, and a healthy work/life balance. We are looking for associate-level therapists (PCA or CSWA) for both full-time and part-time roles.

We invite applications from associate-level candidates (LPC-A or CSWAs) eager to learn evidence-based treatments for anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. Our focus includes specializing in anti-oppressive practices for gender-diverse clients and providing letters of support for gender-affirming care for both teens and adults. This role is supported by a grant aimed at delivering culturally-specific services, necessitating expertise in working with gender-diverse populations.

Associate-level staff will engage in a mix of direct client care, administrative responsibilities, supervision, team meetings, and educational training. All associates will incorporate multicultural humility, trauma-informed care, and anti-oppression principles into their practice. The supervised hours accumulated will meet the licensure requirements for PCA or LCSW in the state of Oregon. This presents a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to enhance their clinical skills in a collaborative and supportive learning environment.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $60,700 and $80,100 annually, with performance-based bonuses available. Compensation is determined by various factors, including education, experience, licensure/certifications, and scheduled clinical hours.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in counseling or social work from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients from diverse backgrounds through a multicultural lens.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proven track record of professional development and growth.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Competence in addressing a variety of clinical issues.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Experience with gender-diverse clients (for specialization).
  • Ability to complete necessary documentation, conduct ongoing assessments, and participate in treatment planning with the team.

Benefits:

  • Malpractice insurance coverage.
  • Paid sick leave.
  • Additional benefits include longevity bonuses, student loan repayment assistance, and access to EAP services at no cost.
  • A collaborative work environment with opportunities for overtime in skill development and direct client engagement.

About Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress

Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress is a training-focused, specialty behavioral health clinic dedicated to providing evidence-based, inclusive, and culturally sensitive treatment and assessment services. Our organization is built on two core principles: a commitment to disseminating evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders, OCD, and PTSD, and a strong anti-oppression stance as a fundamental value. We understand that stress and anxiety are influenced by broader societal contexts, which often perpetuate trauma and discrimination. With these principles in mind, we support our diverse clientele through direct intervention and assessment services that address both individual and societal factors contributing to their distress.

As a proud member of the Refresh Mental Health network, we benefit from outstanding operational support and resources, allowing our clinicians to focus on delivering exceptional care. This partnership enhances our capabilities while preserving our local identity and leadership.

Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to fostering a diverse workplace. We strive to build a team that includes individuals from all backgrounds, including those from LGBTQIA+ communities, various ethnic groups, individuals with disabilities, foreign-born residents, and veterans.
