Job Title: Corporate Finance Associate

RWE Clean Energy, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Finance Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Finance Group, you will play a critical role in overseeing treasury operations across all Operating Businesses in the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with regular liquidity forecasting and data management to ensure accurate preparation of raw data.
  • Review cash balances and ZBA functionality to prevent overdrafts.
  • Assist with daily payment processing across all payment types, including ACH, Wire, and Check.
  • Manage the opening of new bank accounts and ensure adherence to internal entity cash flow structures.
  • Support day-to-day banking operations and interface with partner banks.
  • Maintain an internal database of bank account authorized signers and execute change requests.
  • Support the operational management of Bank Guarantee issuance in coordination with project management, the parent company, and banks.
  • Run relevant reports for the Treasury Team within the internal Guarantee Management System or SAP.
  • Process collateral-related invoices using the internal ERP system and payment procedures.
  • Support the Corporate Finance Team in creating, visualizing, and documenting relevant Finance processes within PowerPoint.
  • Monitor team mailbox and respond accordingly.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related field with a strong academic record.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in treasury or related field at an established multi-national company.
  • Experience with TMS (SAP preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams.
  • Educational or professional background in Energy business can be helpful.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationships.
  • Demonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables space.
  • Strong leadership and communication, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverables.
  • Ability to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a team.
  • Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgrounds.
  • Responds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachable.
  • Is detail-oriented, has strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business concepts.
