Job Summary

As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for manufacturing various metal enclosures, assemblies, and structures in preparation for final assembly. This role requires versatility and a willingness to work on diverse tasks within the scope of work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Construct complex metal assemblies, ranging from intricate to large structures, using various tools and machinery.
  • Fasten parts using bolts, screws, rivets, and other hardware.
  • Assemble both finished products and the components that go into them.
  • Read and understand blueprints to determine how to connect parts and use the correct hardware.
  • Operate tools, machinery, and hands to assist in the manufacturing process.
  • Cut, align, and fit together structural metal parts.
  • Rivet pieces together.
  • Caulk, paint prep, and finalize assembly of enclosures to tanks and subframes, including trim and accessories.
  • Clean and prepare units for completion.
  • Clean and organize your work area daily.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by your manager.
Principal Contacts:

This role interacts with shop supervisors, other assemblers, project managers, and engineers within the company.

Competency and Position Requirements:
  • Maintain a safe work ethic and adhere to shop safety rules.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, assembly instructions, and measuring devices.
  • Be mechanically inclined and possess skills in metal construction.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Meet project deadlines and schedules.

Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Tech/Vocational training preferred.
  • Certificates or welding skills are a plus.
Equipment Used:

This role utilizes a drill press, band saw, overhead crane, gantry crane, hand tools, battery drills, electric grinders, and pneumatic tools (cutting wheels, rivet guns, ratcheting drivers, etc.).

Working and Physical Conditions:

This position requires standing for extended periods, working efficiently and safely on ladders, lifting up to 30 lbs., and maintaining a steady work ethic.
