Requirements / Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Current valid California R.N. license required
• Completion of advanced courses in nursing education, including Administration, Principles of Teaching, Supervision, and Curriculum Development
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as an R.N., with at least one year in teaching or clinical supervision within the last five years
• Preferred experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing in Education
• Must hold or be eligible to obtain a California Designated Subjects Teaching Credential for Adult Education.
