Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commodity Trader to join our team at Scoular. As a key member of our trading team, you will be responsible for developing and executing trade strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate and execute trades in a defined market, leveraging market analytics and customer relationships to drive business results.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including origin and destination customers, to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement logistics execution strategies to optimize trade flows and reduce costs.
  • Manage contracts and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of balances with customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk management tools and strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and relationship-building capability.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Preferred: 1-2 years of merchandising experience and knowledge of the agricultural industry's trading standards and procedures.
