Senior Clinician Job Description

At Behavioral Health Network, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Clinician to join our team at the New View program. As a Senior Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing clinical leadership and supervision to our staff, while also delivering high-quality treatment services to individuals served.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise clinical program staff to ensure effective service coordination and comprehensive treatment planning.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team with a positive and collaborative approach.
  • Provide individual and group treatment to individuals served, incorporating sound clinical theories and principles.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk/crisis evaluations and ensure the safety of individuals served and the treatment environment.
  • Provide regular supervision and orientation to clinical staff, including performance appraisals and caseload management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.
  • Complete documentation and participate in the on-call rotation for the program.
Requirements:
  • Commitment to empowerment, growth, and community integration for individuals served.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
  • At least three years of experience working with substance use populations.
  • Knowledge of substance use, group work, psychotherapy, family/systems dynamics, and pathology.
  • Experience working with women or individuals who self-identify as women recovering from trauma and violence.
  • Working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations.
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems.
