Senior Clinician Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinician to join our team at Behavioral Health Network, Inc. in Western Massachusetts. As a Senior Clinician, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership and supervision to our multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based treatment services to individuals served.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor clinical program staff to ensure effective service coordination and delivery of comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team in a positive and collaborative manner, promoting a culture of empowerment and growth.
  • Provide individual and group treatment to individuals served, utilizing sound clinical theories and principles.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk and crisis evaluations, ensuring the safety of individuals served and the treatment milieu.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, managing caseloads and overseeing treatment progress.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of individuals' information, adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 regulations.
  • Complete documentation and reports in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling).
  • At least three years of experience working with substance use disorder populations, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of substance use treatment techniques, group work, and psychotherapy.
  • Experience working with women or individuals who self-identify as women recovering from trauma and violence.
  • Working knowledge of DPH Bureau of Substance Abuse regulations.
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems.
