Position Overview:
The Consignment Analyst plays a crucial role in understanding and managing the comprehensive processes associated with the Consignment and Implant program. This position is pivotal in facilitating the seamless processing of requests and receipts for consignment products through a perpetual inventory system. The analyst collaborates with clinical end-users to ensure the quality of care provided to patients by reviewing and validating the products utilized, maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and working closely with vendors to enhance the consignment and implant program's efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement systematic processes for managing tissue, implants, and consignment products.
  • Collaborate with vendors to oversee consignment inventory effectively.
  • Assist in coordinating regular audits on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Respond to inquiries from both internal and external sources, focusing on auditing and regulatory compliance.
  • Establish and uphold Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring adherence to established processes within the health system.
  • Address customer requests and implement necessary checklists, stock-out procedures, and recall effectiveness checks.
  • Work in partnership with team members, management, and frontline customers to guarantee continuity of patient care.
  • Support management in executing program strategy changes to foster program growth.
  • Engage proactively with vendors to adapt to evolving practices within product families, ensuring adequate product supply and sharing insights with leadership teams.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with health system policies and procedures, particularly regarding consignment and vendor management.
  • Actively participate in perpetual systems within the ERP and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate externally to align industry best practices with internal workflows and processes.
  • Apply LEAN principles throughout daily responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate the professional, clinical, and technical competencies required for the assigned unit or department.
  • Note: This list is not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare supply chain environment or relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Supply Chain within a healthcare setting or relevant field.
Preferred Certifications:
  • TUKHS Lean Certification.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Proficient in various computer software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Workday.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and the ability to manipulate and analyze data using spreadsheets.
