Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective care to surgical patients in the Operating Room, adhering to standards of practice for Perioperative Nursing.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal surgical outcomes.
- Assume responsibility for the efficient management of surgical cases, ensuring timely and smooth operations.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of cost-effective patient care strategies.
- Enhance professional growth and development through ongoing education and training.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and a minimum of 2 years of current related experience or completion of an accredited post-graduate program for operating room technique.
- Prefer Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) certification.
