Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant Inpatient to join our team at Concord Hospital. As an OTA Inpatient, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation treatment programs to patients of all ages and populations.

Responsibilities
  • Document and provide treatment plans to attain established goals in accordance with licensure, scope of practice, and department standards.
  • Assess patient response to treatment and document accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient care.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental initiatives and special projects.
  • Advocate for and develop intra-disciplinary and interdisciplinary team members.
Requirements
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state of NH.
  • Two years of formal training or education beyond the high school level (e.g., Associates Degree) from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant Program.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or equivalent course credentialed by American Heart Association.

The Dictionary of Occupational Titles Material Handling Classification is MEDIUM. The employee must regularly lift, carry, or push/pull up to 10 pounds, frequently lift, carry, or push/pull up to 10-25 pounds, and occasionally lift, carry, or push/pull up to 20-50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear and speak. The employee is frequently required to bend, do repetitive motion, perform activities that require fine motor skills, reach, squat, and walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb, kneel, sit, and stand.

The employee is frequently exposed to airborne pathogens, bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to electrical hazards - shock, non-weather-related heat or cold, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
