About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Lathe/Mill Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team at Phoenix Company Deer Valley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mills and Lathes, primarily Haas, to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Setting up and operating CNC Lathes and Mills in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Interpreting and implementing GD&T symbols to ensure accurate production of parts.
  • Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Translating instructions into computer commands to operate the machines.
  • Ensuring the CNC machine operates in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
  • Testing operation of machines periodically to guarantee smooth running.
  • Adhering to all safety and health regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CNC Lathe/Mill Operator.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Haas, and GD&T symbols.
  • Strong ability to interpret and understand complex mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong understanding of the machining process and materials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of mechanical aptitude and maintenance capability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
