Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Swiss/Turn Mill Programmer to contribute to our manufacturing operations. This role presents an exciting chance to work with advanced technology and machinery in a collaborative environment. The successful candidate will be tasked with programming, setting up, and operating CNC Swiss Turning Centers, along with conducting material planning and first piece inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Program and operate CNC Swiss Turning Centers to produce precision components.
2. Create and implement CNC programs for new projects utilizing G Code.
3. Conduct first piece inspections to guarantee quality and consistency.
4. Set up and operate CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
5. Engage in design reviews to enhance product manufacturability.
6. Provide technical assistance to the production team and resolve any manufacturing issues.
7. Manage material planning to ensure sufficient supplies for production.
8. Collaborate with engineers and team members to optimize manufacturing processes and product quality.
9. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications:

1. At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist.
2. Proficient in G Code and CNC programming.
3. Familiarity with CNC Lathes and CNC Mills.
4. Strong understanding of material planning processes.
5. Proven experience in first piece inspection.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and quick troubleshooting skills.
7. Strong communication skills and teamwork capability.
8. Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output.
9. Knowledge of safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
10. A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field is preferred.
