Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Avionics Integration Engineer to join the F-15 System Program Office within Astrion's Air Force Division, F-15 Foreign Military Sales in Dayton, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and review applicable program documentation for avionics engineering relevant requirements.
- Assist the Government in drafting and developing systems/subsystem specifications and various engineering documents in support of milestone reviews and events.
- Be responsible for development and test of the program system hardware and software and its integration into the program.
- Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Science (MS)) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
- OR, BA/BS degree, and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
- OR, 20 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 8 of which must be in the DoD.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Skype/Lync, and MS Teams).
- Knowledge of radar theory and principles, and an understanding of the radar design, development, and implementation process.
Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Avionics Integration Engineer to join the F-15 System Program Office within Astrion's Air Force Division, F-15 Foreign Military Sales in Dayton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionics engineering, radar theory, and principles, and excellent communication and technical skills.
