Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical resource for interpreting project plans and specifications.
  • Address and resolve issues as they arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the development of project estimates and engage in related negotiations.
  • Obtain quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with the safety department to formulate a tailored safety plan for the site.
  • Lead discussions on weekly safety topics with the construction team and participate in daily safety briefings.
  • Coordinate the procurement and delivery of project-specific materials to the job site.
  • Assist the Superintendent in securing and setting up necessary yard and office equipment.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate project schedule.
  • Provide weekly updates on production quantities.
  • Prepare and submit a comprehensive weekly report to stakeholders, detailing project status, schedule updates, safety reports, and outstanding issues.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on costs related to labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and rentals.
  • Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, including owners, inspection teams, and subcontractors.
  • Forecast project costs to completion and present findings to management monthly.
  • Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to the owner regarding inquiries and change order conditions.
  • Prepare redline As-Built drawings for archival purposes.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including hosting closeout meetings and organizing project documentation.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of experience as a Project Coordinator, with field exposure across various divisions.
  • Possess specialized skills gained from specific projects or industries (e.g., fueling, electrical, or gas).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with effective time management abilities.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings and specifications.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite, including Project and Excel.
  • Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed for project demands.
  • Experience in the construction industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Assist in training and enhancing the efficiency of Project Coordinators.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is conducted at project sites and in office environments.
  • Primarily sedentary work, requiring occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds of force.

Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experience.
