Job Title: Operating Room Tech / Surgical Technician

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join their team in Auburn, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist with surgical operations in a hospital or outpatient surgery center setting. As an Operating Room Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and nurses with surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Transport patients to and from surgery, providing emotional support and reassurance.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Nationally Certified in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA)
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute Surg Tech experience
  • Trauma Experience preferred, not required
  • Travel experience preferred, not required
