We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Attendant/Housekeeper to join our team at Delta Hotels Orlando Lake Buena Vista. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Know and follow established cleaning procedures to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for guest rooms according to Delta Hotels' and Marriott standards.
  • Teamwork: Assist colleagues when own workstation is completed.
  • Supply Management: Properly use all cleaning fluids and supplies.
  • Guest Amenities: Properly place guest amenities, e.g., toilet paper, tissues, guest service directories, and turndown amenities.
  • Special Projects: Perform and complete any special projects or reasonable requests assigned by management.
  • Emergency Procedures: Know and actively practice the hotels' emergency procedures and loss prevention guidelines.
  • Linens and Laundry: Sorts, counts, folds, marks, and carries linens.
  • Bed Making and Dusting: Makes beds (triple sheeting) with clean sheets in excellent condition and dusts furniture.
  • Supply Replenishment: Replenishes supplies such as drinking glasses and writing supplies.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Moves furniture, hangs drapes, rolls carpets, and replaces light bulbs.
  • Waste Management: Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
  • Trash and Waste Disposal: Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
  • Bathroom Cleaning: Replenishes bathroom supplies. Sweeps and scrubs bathroom floor.
  • Public Area Cleaning: Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways, when requested.
  • Deep Cleaning: Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
  • Wall and Ceiling Cleaning: Washes walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
  • Linens and Laundry Management: Stocks and replenishes linen rooms if necessary.
  • Patio and Balcony Cleaning: Sweeps patios/balconies and ensures cobwebs are removed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-2 years experience as a Guest Room Attendant with an established hotel brand, preferably Marriott.
  • Education: High School Diploma Preferred.
  • Language: Must speak, understand, and read English.
