Distribution Center Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Distribution Center Supervisor to join our team at Acuity Brands. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our distribution center, ensuring seamless execution of our logistics and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the distribution center team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities, promoting professional growth and development.
- Ensure distribution center processes and procedures are followed consistently, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement changes to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Monitor key performance indicators to track process performance and make data-driven decisions to drive operational excellence.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of distribution center operations, including processes, safety regulations, quality control, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Proficiency in data analysis and use of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software.
