Job Description:

The leader of the operations team is responsible for overseeing plant manufacturing, ensuring safety, quality, and operating costs are maintained. This includes direct and indirect efficiency, scheduling, and quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety of all team members and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Implement and enforce quality policies and procedures, documenting any deviations from standard workflows.
  • Maximize equipment utilization and resolve any issues that prevent optimal capacity.
  • Follow up on actions from Kaizen, Standard Lean Events, and Slams performed on the production floor.
  • Eliminate waste, ensure 100% launch and power builds, and implement training processes.
  • Collaborate with plant engineering and maintenance to ensure equipment and machinery are properly maintained and functioning as intended.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, quality, or engineering.
  • Minimum five to eight years of supervision or management experience.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as necessary.
Work Environment:
  • Professional office environment.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment while on the manufacturing floor.
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations as required.
