Job Summary:

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a per diem basis. As a key member of our neonatal care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24-hour, in-house coverage for critically ill newborns in the Level-III NICU and intermediate unit.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Perform routine assessments, administer medications, and provide life-sustaining therapies as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.

Qualifications:

  • Current APRN national specialty certification in Neonatal Nursing.
  • Minimum of a master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • TX license or active IMLC required.
  • Certified NNP with recent experience in neonatal care.
