Job Summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our team in a per diem capacity. As a key member of our neonatal care team, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill newborns and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 24-hour, in-house coverage for critically ill newborns in the Level-III NICU and intermediate unit.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Qualifications
  • Current APRN national specialty certification in Neonatal Nursing.
  • Minimum of a master's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Recent experience in neonatal nursing, preferably in a Level-III NICU setting.
  • TX license or active compact state license required.
