Responsibilities
  • Assist the RN in assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for assigned patients.
  • Utilize advanced skills in patient care after education and training.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance patient care skills.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Thirty (30) hour IV certification.
  • Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • OB/Neonatal Certifications obtained during employment will be maintained during the remainder of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification.
  • Maternal-Newborn Nursing Certification.
  • Low Risk Neonatal Certification.
  • Lactation Certification.
License and Certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Florida Lic Practical Nur (LPN) license.
