Job Summary

As a licensed mental health professional, you will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for adult and child members with a range of mental health needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, providing psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and education to members and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement clinical treatment programs for members with acute or chronic mental illness
  • Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
  • Instruct and counsel patients and their families on treatment regimens and medication adherence
  • Administer specialized therapeutic procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians to screen and evaluate patients for psychotropic medications
  • Utilize community resources to meet members' treatment needs
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology, or related field
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) or equivalent
  • Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team
  • Previous clinical responsibility, including crisis intervention and individual and group psychotherapy
