Job Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas within Associated Students buildings and facilities. The successful candidate will have prior experience in custodial or related work and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of floors, rugs, and carpets.
  • Train and oversee student employees as required.
  • Restock restroom supplies and maintain proper work safety standards.
  • Enforce building security procedures and observe and report needed repairs to buildings and equipment.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
  • Six (6) months prior experience in custodial or related work.
  • Prior experience in carpet, hard floor, office/room, and restroom care is preferred.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in building and outside environments, with exposure to dust, heat, and toxic substances. The ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50lbs is required.
