Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures of moderate complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiology procedures, including X-ray and fluoroscopy procedures, to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Provide direct assistance to physicians during diagnostic or special procedures, including assisting with sterile technique.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality control and safety initiatives to ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and infection control procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and promote a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section.
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist (CMRT) or temporary state licensure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
  • Basic computer knowledge and ability to operate multiple computer systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and team player skills with all levels of the healthcare team.
Work Environment

This position may require travel within the Houston Metropolitan area and/or outside of the Houston Metropolitan area.
