Job Summary:

Dartmouth Health is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our Anatomic Pathology team. As a key member of our clinical laboratory services, you will play a critical role in facilitating specimen verification, processing, and triaging testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform duties to facilitate specimen verification, processing, and triaging testing for the Anatomic Pathology – Cytology services.
  • Process and maintain processing and staining equipment.
  • Ensure accurate results by following established quality control practices.
  • Identify and notify technical staff of QC problems.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in a chemical or biological science or medical laboratory technology.
  • Previous work experience in a clinical histology laboratory preferred.
  • Laboratory training including completion of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLA, or other organization approved by HHS.

Benefits:

  • $2500 sign-on/retention bonus.
  • Full-time, 40-hour/week position working Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and 9:00am-5:30pm, bi-weekly rotation.
