Job Title: Power Electronics Engineer II

Lennox International Inc is seeking a highly skilled Power Electronics Engineer II to join our Controls and Electronics group. As an engineer in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team to develop new and existing embedded control products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop electronic control boards utilizing embedded microprocessors with analog and digital circuitry for residential HVAC equipment.
  • Develop specifications and technical documentation for new products.
  • Participate in design review and projects meetings.
  • Test electronic controls to verify compliance with quality and reliability requirements.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement design changes to ensure product integrity.
  • Interact with suppliers to find optimal components while containing costs.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience in design of analog, digital, and mixed signal circuitry and embedded microprocessors.
  • Experience with variable speed motor control or AC/DC and DC/DC converters.
  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software.
  • Experience with circuit simulation software is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to internal management and external suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience with MSProject is a plus.
  • Experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Embedded C, MATLAB, Python, and LabView is a plus.
