Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team at Compass Group USA. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all audio visual requirements requested by clients are met. This includes interfacing various types of audio visual, communication, and presentation technology, reviewing customer and meeting planner requests, and providing equipment and assistance as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that all audio visual requirements are met
  • Interface various types of audio visual, communication, and presentation technology
  • Review customer and meeting planner requests
  • Provide equipment and assistance as needed
  • Follow SOPs for audio-visual support
  • Adhere to preventative maintenance room sweeps
  • Change data projectors, lamps, and cabling pieces
  • Review operation of equipment with customers
  • Offer assistance in operation of equipment
  • Educate staff and customers on AV equipment
  • Maintain metrics associated with room equipment inventory

Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience supporting audio visual for events
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
