Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer to join our team at ProSphere Tek, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the security and stability of our cross-domain enterprise-level solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS LINUX command-level administration
  • Troubleshooting of associated hardware/software to include Dell, HP, Pivot3, VMWare, Citrix
  • Create, track, and resolve escalated service desk action items
  • Maintain the security and stability of cross-domain enterprise-level solutions
  • Provide detailed technical solutions
  • Build, install, move, and/or break down systems on-site or remotely
  • Create detailed technical reports and metrics
  • Interact with customers and support personnel at on/off-site data centers
  • Be familiar with Linux audit and reporting tasks
Requirements
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Hands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX in an Enterprise environment
  • Enterprise management experience to include LDAP, Configuration Management Tools, DNS, Repo, Backups, Log management
  • Experience with Ansible Playbook
  • Troubleshooting experience of Enterprise
  • Networking experience of Enterprise to include Cisco and Palo Alto
  • Data Center experience
  • Shell Scripting experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Responsive Service Desk experience
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to multi-task
