Marine Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join our team at OneWater Marine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine engine and electrical systems, with experience in inspecting, servicing, and repairing marine engines.

• Inspect and service engine equipment, including outboard, inboard, and ship engines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engine and electrical problems.
• Perform minor repairs and replacements of engine parts.
• Conduct plumbing and intake repairs.
• Work on land and at sea, with the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Develop and submit written and photographic information to document all stages of the repair process.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Marine Mechanic in a shipyard environment or as a subcontractor in shipyards.
• Knowledge of marine engine and electrical auxiliary systems.
• Ability to work at sea and lift heavy equipment.
