A Career as a Personal Care Specialist
As a Personal Care Specialist at Sevita, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our participants.
You will assist individuals with their personal hygiene, support them in developing daily living skills, and help them become part of their communities.
In this role, you will also be responsible for:
- Developing real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve
- Taking initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
- Supporting participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
What You'll Bring to Sevita
To succeed as a Personal Care Specialist at Sevita, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $12 to $14 per hour, depending on location and experience.
Full-time employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a company match.
Additionally, you will have access to paid time off, holiday pay, and a network of support from supervisors who care deeply about our participants and your wellbeing.
