About the Role

Viant is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to lead our team as a Technical Lead. This role will involve overseeing the design and implementation of interconnected services for our Demand Side Platform (DSP).

The successful candidate will have 12+ years of professional experience in software development, with expertise in web services, microservices, or other SOA architectures. They will also have experience with relational databases such as MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle, and be proficient in complex SQL queries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Determine a long-term technical vision and scope of future projects
  2. Lead end-to-end product development efforts for Viant DSP's suite of products
  3. Own and contribute to major features & areas of the products
  4. Work closely with cross-functional teams internally as well as customers externally to understand pain points, underserved needs, and identify opportunities
  5. Mentor engineers who thrive working in an innovative, user-focused, fast-paced environment
  6. Drive initiatives to reduce operational load, and build operationally sustainable products
