Job Description

At Ryder, we're seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL Class A Daily to join our team in Detroit, MI. As a Home Daily Class A CDL Flatbed Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering goods to the Metro Detroit Area on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight as required
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
