Electrical Engineer Position at Belcan

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at Belcan. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the aerospace/defense, space, energy, and commercial vehicles industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineered solutions to solve electrical design problems.
  • Analyze schematic and printed circuit board problems encountered during development, production, and testing.
  • Determine the optimal solution for nonconformances and provide guidance and communication to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight, taking responsibility to thoroughly understand technical options and program trade-offs.
  • Use effective verbal and written communications, technical drawings, and physical demonstration as needed to work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Printed circuit board design and build experience.
  • Siemens Xpedition Enterprise electrical design experience.
  • Proficient user of SPICE tools for development of safety-critical hardware.
  • Proficient in all skills required for board bring up.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Space vehicle or aerospace industry experience.
  • Experience designing electrical systems to meet DO-160.
  • Safety-critical industry experience.
