Structural Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at ADF Engineering. As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems for industrial and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze structural systems for industrial and commercial projects
  • Develop and implement structural engineering solutions
  • Collaborate with other engineers and designers to ensure project success
  • Provide competent structural engineering solutions, including design, analysis, and structural assessment of existing buildings
Requirements:
  • BS in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 3-7 years of experience in industrial/commercial designs
  • Prior experience in consulting engineering, industrial and facility design
  • PE and/or SE certification
  • Experience using REVIT software
Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of structural engineering for medium and heavy industrial buildings
  • Knowledge of reinforced concrete foundations, structural steel floors and frames, masonry, and utility racks
  • Knowledge of fall protection design and OSHA
  • Leadership and pro-active attitude
  • Consulting engineering experience
  • Ownership and accountability
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects and tasks
