Data Integrity Specialist

Job Summary:
CathX is seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Record Scanner. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that completed quality records are accurately scanned and uploaded to our digital storage system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record Preparation: Organize and prepare files and records for scanning, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Quality Control: Review documents and records for errors or omissions, and ensure that all records are properly formatted and labeled.
- Scanning and Filing: Scan documents and records of data after they have been released by our Quality Engineers and Technicians, and file digital copies of scanned records.
- Physical Filing: Physically file paper records in our file cabinets after scanning.
Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate a multi-function printer/scanner, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat applications.
- Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Process and Good Documentation Practices, and experience working in a quality assurance or document control environment.
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment:
The Record Scanner will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Physical Demands:
- Physical Activity: Repetitive motions, including making substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, and talking.
- Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
- Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer screen, and extensive reading.
Working Conditions:
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions, but may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas, which may require the use of personal protective equipment.
