We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to support the production of Columbia College athletic events. As a Game Day Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our students, staff, and spectators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the production of each Columbia College athletic event
  • Maintain accurate statistics and scores throughout games
  • Operate scoreboards, shot clocks, and other equipment as needed
  • Communicate effectively with team members and officials
  • Provide exceptional customer service to attendees

Specialized Positions:

  • TriCaster Director: responsible for the game day experience for indoor athletic events, including camera switching, video playback, and coordination with public address announcer
  • Public Address Announcer: assists in the production of each Columbia College athletic event by announcing play-by-play, pre-game, and post-game

Essential Functions:

  • Practice superior customer service
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Display respect and civility to all constituencies
  • Attend work timely and during established hours of operation

Requirements:

  • Ability to fluently read, write, and understand the English language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a college environment
  • Athletic game day experience
