We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor to join our Division of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the academic and clinical excellence of our program.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and mentor pre-doctoral dental education students, residents, and pediatric health care providers in pediatric dentistry.
- Conduct clinical instruction and administration of pre-doctoral dental education students rotating through Division of Pediatric Dentistry clinical sites.
- Develop and deliver academic offerings (lectures, seminars, case presentations, etc.) for pediatric dentistry residents, pre-doctoral dental education students, and advanced education dental residents.
- Participate in committee work as appointed by the Director of the Division of Pediatric Dentistry.
- Contribute to faculty, resident, and student research projects conducted by the Division of Pediatric Dentistry.
- Participate in continuing education programs provided by the Division of Pediatric Dentistry.
- DDS/DMD degree from a Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) accredited United States or Canadian dental school.
- Completion of an Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry accredited by CODA or the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada prior to start in the position.
- Meets eligibility requirements for certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
- Current Minnesota Dental License or can obtain one prior to start in the position.
