REQUIREMENTS:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with experience in hospitality or a related field preferred.
Must hold a valid driver's license for the respective state.
At least one year of driving experience is necessary.
An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required.
Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly is essential.
Must be able to quickly and accurately assess and choose among alternative actions.
Maintain composure and objectivity in high-pressure situations.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Approach all interactions with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company standards, which may vary based on hotel needs.
Adhere to company standards and regulations at all times to promote safe and efficient hotel operations.
Greet guests in a welcoming manner.
Assist with loading and unloading luggage carts.
Manage loading and unloading of luggage from the van.
Escort guests to their rooms upon request.
Check and store luggage for arrivals and departures using appropriate tags.
Open and close vehicle doors for guests arriving and departing.
Deliver messages to meeting rooms as needed.
Keep updated on local attractions, special events, and activities.
Maintain a list of local transportation options, churches, sports arenas, etc.
Provide guests with information, maps, and directions as necessary.
Ensure the lobby reader board is accurate.
Maintain cleanliness in the motor entrance, front door, and lobby area.
Deliver flowers, packages, and messages to guest rooms.
Facilitate room changes as required.
Ensure the van's interior and exterior are kept clean.
Drive the van according to scheduled runs.
Respond to console inquiries to assist guest services agents.
Show guest rooms and suites as needed, highlighting company amenities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
