Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute project scopes, budgets, and schedules to meet client expectations.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, accurate, and meet quality standards.
  • Manage the preparation of reports, presentations, budgets, specifications, plans, and permits for projects.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate document preparation, resources, and activities for multiple projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities and positioning our firm for success.
  • Develop and publish technical papers to share knowledge and expertise.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path to ensure timely completion.
  • Define project success criteria and milestones, and effectively communicate throughout the project life cycle.
  • Lead and motivate project team members and contractors to achieve exceptional results.
  • Ensure production work meets client quality expectations and adheres to industry standards.
  • Schedule and track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure adherence to established procedures for conducting work, documentation, project, and client management.
  • Conduct project lessons learned and create a recommendation report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Develop teaming arrangements, lead proposal preparation, and participate in interviews to secure new business.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of surveying and basic engineering terminology.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 7+ years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Current licensure as a professional engineer (PE) by the State of Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Valid driver's license.
